New Fencing at Burnham’s Field

The City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids, IFB #23115 for demolition, removal and disposal of the existing fence and to supply and install approx. 2300’ of 6’ high and approx. 100’ of 14’ high 8 gauge black vinyl coated chain link fence at Burnham’s Field.  This project is bid pursuant to MGL Chap. 30, sec 39M. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the bid price. Bids are due and will be opened at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 9 Dale Ave, Gloucester, MA 01930 no later than April 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Bid packages will be available by emailing or at the Purchasing Office beginning March 29, 2023.   The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason.
