The deadline to register your dog without a late fee is April 30th. Licensing is currently underway in the Gloucester City Clerk’s Office during our regular business hours. Office hours are:
Monday thru Wednesday 8:30-4:00
Thursday 8:30-6:30
Friday 8:30-12:30
As set forth by MGL Ch. 140 Sec. 137 and the Gloucester Code of Ordinances Ch. 4, all dogs must be registered.
The cost is $22.50 per dog if paying in person and $23.50 if paying by mail. Payment can be made by cash or check. The rabies vaccination certificate must be presented at the time of registration.
Licenses are due by April 30th. Starting on May 1st a $10.00 late fee will be imposed.
