[ARCHIVED] Clothing and Book Drop Off Day

To try to control traffic and reduce waiting times, we have changed the way our Drop Off Days are scheduled.

On August 27th the DPW will be hosting a Clothing and Book Drop Off Day from 9am to 12 noon.

Second Glance will be available to accept clothing, shoes, accessories, textiles, hard and soft covered books, videos, CD's. DVD's, audio books, records and comic books and small household items for free.

Second Glance, The Thrift Store of The Open Door, is a Gloucester-based business located at 2 Pond Road. All proceeds support local hunger-relief programming. Last year their programs served more than 10% of Gloucester's estimated population. For more information and a complete listing of The Open Door programs, please visit www.foodpantry.org.

Please note: electronics and paper shredding will not be accepted at this event. The date for that event is October 29th.
