The Stage Fort Park Visitor Center receives visitors from all over the world into our beautiful city. Providing directions, accommodation suggestions, recommendations for restaurants as well as museums and other attractions. Gloucester offers not only unique cultural experiences but a look at the working waterfront in America’s oldest seaport in its purest form. Stop by the next time you’re in town, our volunteers are specially trained to help you get the best you can from your visit to Gloucester.

Is the Visitor Center Handicapped accessible?
Yes, we have a ramp that will bring you right inside the center.
Do you charge for parking?
Yes. An all day parking fee is charged from Memorial Day through Labor Day- $20.00 Monday through Friday and $25.00 Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. All parking is by reservation for non-residents. For more information please visit: https://gloucesterweb.yodelpass.com/beaches/#/
Do you have Public Restrooms?
Yes, they are available Memorial Day through the end of September from 9:00 am to 5:45 pm.
Do you have an ATM?
Unfortunately, no, there is not an ATM in the park.
I want to have a party or large gathering at the park, do I need a permit?
Yes, to reserve an area in the park, or to have a large gathering you’ll need to contact the Department of Public Works (DPW) at (978) 325-5600.
