Responsibilities

The Personnel Office for the City of Gloucester is responsible for:

  • Administration of all workers compensation or Section 111F claims
  • Benefits
  • Employee recruitment
  • Fostering a climate for positive labor / management relations
  • Job classification
  • Maintaining records

The Personnel Department also maintains and develops a variety of employee support programs to improve efficiency and the cost-effective management of City services.
