Tested Positive for Covid-19?
In recognition of the public’s growing familiarity with the protocols required for COVID-19 quarantine and isolation and in an effort to prioritize Health Department resources for the upcoming fall/winter vaccination season, as of July 1, 2022, the Health Department will no longer be contacting individuals who test positive using a PCR COVID-19 test.
If you have questions, please use the information below provided by our partners at the Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

If you experience any of the following symptoms, seek emergency care immediately:
- Trouble breathing
- Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
- New confusion
- Inability to wake or stay awake
- Pale, gray, or blue-colored skin, lips, or nail beds, depending on skin tone
