HIV, AIDS and Hepatitis C – Information and Services


HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C are two diseases that can be acquired by coming in contact with infected blood or bodily fluids. The Gloucester Health Department is committed to ensuring that all residents at risk for HIV or Hepatitis C infection and those living with HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis C have equal access to health care and public health care efforts. 

The North Shore Health Project located at 5 Center Street in Gloucester offers FREE and CONFIDENTIAL Health Services for those living with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C. These services include Hepatitis C and HIV information and education, case management, holistic therapies, monthly support groups, and nutritional programs.

FREE Testing Services available include HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infections, and Hepatitis C on the fourth Monday of every month 1 pm to 5pm.

Office Hours:

Mon/Tue/Thurs: 9 am – 5 pm

Wednesday: 9 am – 8 pm

Friday: 9 am – 1 pm

Did you know those born 1945 - 1965 are five times more likely than any other adult to be infected with Hepatitis C?
