HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C – Information and Services

Overview

HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C are two diseases that can be acquired by coming in contact with infected blood or bodily fluids. The Gloucester Health Department is committed to ensuring that all residents at risk for HIV or Hepatitis C infection and those living with HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis C have equal access to health care and public health care efforts.

Free and confidential HIV testing is conducted at CAB Health & Recovery Services’ Outreach Program which is currently located at the Gloucester Family Health Center (lower level) 302 Washington St. Testing is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9am to 5pm. Free and confidential Hep C testing, counseling, and support is offered at the North Shore Health Project which is located at 67 Middle Street. For more information on available services, please visit the North Shore Health Project.
