Harbormaster Office Renovations

The City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids, Bid #19110, for renovations to the Harbormaster’s Office, including floor plan alterations, new interior finishes, new HVAC system and various plumbing, electrical work and upgrades as well as new door and windows.   Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid.  The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price. DCAMM Certified Contractors are sought for the following category: " General Contractor”. DCAMM Certified Subcontractors are sought for the following categories of work: Roofing & flashing, HVAC, Masonry, Plumbing and Electrical. Sub Bids are due and will be opened at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, 9 Dale Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930 no later than August 22 at 11:30 amGeneral Bids are due and will be opened at the same address  no later than August 29 at 11:30 am. Bid packages will be available at the Purchasing Office beginning on July 31 upon receipt of a $75.00 refundable deposit.  If mailing is requested there is an additional $50.00 mailing fee. Digital transmission may be requested by contacting .  There will be a pre-bid meeting on August 8 at 11 am on site.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason.
